# noopTracer

> Variable exported by @botmesh/core/spi.

```ts theme={null}
const noopTracer: BotTracer;
```

Defined in: [telemetry/tracing.ts:45](https://github.com/andresayac/botmesh/blob/main/packages/core/src/telemetry/tracing.ts#L45)

A tracer that records nothing (every span is a shared, frozen no-op span).
