# parseFieldAnswer()

Defined in: [forms/validate.ts:241](https://github.com/andresayac/botmesh/blob/main/packages/core/src/forms/validate.ts#L241)

Degraded mode: parse a typed answer for `field`. `{ ok: true, value: undefined }`
means an optional field was skipped (`skipWord`, default: the localized
`core.form.skipWord`). `t` localizes the error messages (default: built-in Spanish).
