# RecordTranscriptOptions

Clock used for `t` offsets (default `Date.now`).

### includeFromMe?

Also record messages flagged `fromMe` (echoes of the bot's own sends). Default `false`.

### maxTurns?

maxTurns?: number;

Keep at most this many turns; older ones are dropped first (default
[DEFAULT\_MAX\_TURNS](https://botmesh.afaya.com.co/api/core/variables/DEFAULT_MAX_TURNS.md)). The buffer holds message bodies, display names and
ids in RAM, unredacted, so keep it bounded on a long-running bot and
`clear()` it once a transcript has been taken. `Infinity` disables the cap.
