# MessageRef

Transport-neutral reference to a specific message. Replaces `WAMessageKey`.
`{id, chatId}` is the portable minimum; `native` round-trips the provider's
own key shape (WAMessageKey, Telegram \{chat\_id,message\_id}, Discord snowflakes)
so a provider can act on it later without the core knowing its structure.
